🌟 Helpful health service in Bundaberg 🌟

I’ve recently had this shared with me through local networks and thought it was worth passing on to the wider community.

There is a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic operating out of Central Medical Centre in Kensington, offering bulk-billed, walk-in care for non-life-threatening conditions. It’s a great option when you need care quickly but don’t require the emergency department.

🚶 No appointment needed – just walk in

The clinic can assist with things like:
• Minor infections
• Sprains, fractures and sports injuries
• Cuts, burns and insect bites
• Respiratory illnesses and gastro
• Ear, eye and urinary issues

This could be a helpful alternative if you’re struggling to get a GP appointment or want to avoid a long wait at the hospital.

Thank you to everyone who came to our high tea fundraiser yesterday! It was very successful raising nearly $2500. That is equivalent to the supply of 250 of our washable menstrual hygiene kits.

Special thanks to Betty for her help with the organising prior to, and in the kitchen on the day. Thank you to Bundaberg Church of Christ for use of the venue.

And a very heartfelt thank you to all our hard working volunteers!
