💛💚 DAY 6 — LAY DAY! 💚💛

Today is all about refreshing, recharging and regrouping! 😎

A chance to slow down, catch our breath, sort out the cars, wash clothes, give everything a bit of TLC and, of course, catch up with good mates. 🚗🔧🍻

After five big days on the road, we’re definitely making the most of our lay day!

A little rest, a few laughs and plenty of good company and refreshments before we’re back on the road again tomorrow for more Variety Bash 2026 adventures! 💛💚

💚 DAY 5 — WHAT A DAY! 💚💛

Oh my gosh… Day 5 did NOT disappoint! 😍 What an absolutely awesome day!

We had an early start from the Hughenden Holden Bakery, grabbing breakfast with OV13. And WOW… the best sausage rolls and fresh cream donuts! 🤤🍩

Then it was off to our fun stop at the Tower Hill Picnic Amateur Races, and what a huge success it was! 🏇🎉

Mateship, love, laughter… did I mention LAUGHTER?! 😂❤️
The locals put on an incredible market, an amazing feed and the most fantastic hospitality. We had an absolute ball!

Our afternoon run included pub stops at the Muttaburra Pub and then the Wellshot Hotel 🍻. Along the way we met some local kids and handed out loads of goodies — seeing those smiles makes everything we do so worthwhile. ❤️

And of course, it wouldn’t be a Variety Bash without a little car drama! 😂

💥 Another tyre bites the dust!
That makes two fan belts and two tyres now! 💸😳

A huge THANK YOU to Michael, who came to our rescue and changed the tyre for us. Absolute legend! 🙌

And the day wasn’t short on wildlife either — dust everywhere, wild pigs, eagles and even a muster happening along the way! 🐗🦅🐄

Tonight we’ve rolled into the Barcaldine Hotel, finally washing away the dust, dirt and stress of the day with our Bash mates. 🍻🚿😂

What a day. What a crew. What a journey! 💛💚
