Bega Valley LETS

Bega Valley LETS BVLets is a way of paying for things without using dollars. A sort of barter system that uses a local money called Sapphs. Started 1989.

The Bega Valley Local Exchange Trading System (BVLets) is one of a worldwide network of complementary trading systems. Based on the Far South Coast of NSW, Australia, the BVLets member community exchanges a wide variety of goods and services using a local currency called a Sapph. (short for Sapphire derived from Sapphire Coast). BVLets uses an online "banking" system that allows you to access your Account, trade & upload Offers & Requests.

Bega Valley LETS is back! The admin team has re-assembled and met over the last few months to bring LETS back to life. The first action was to commission a new website from Natasha Berta. Please check it out, we think she did a fantastic job.

Next we'll bring back the working bees and a big LETS picnic is planned for February ... stay tuned and check out the new website at https://bvlets.org.au
