Sapphire Community Projects Inc is a registered charity, public benevolent institution and deductible gift recipient (DGR) established to relieve poverty, food insecurity and social isolation in the Bega Valley. Money donations are tax-deductible, and can be made in person at the Pantry, or via EFT. Our bank account details are:

Another delicious Monday coming up at Ricky’s Place!

This week’s menu features a wonderful mix of hearty winter meals, including Spinach & Ricotta Conchiglioni, a rich Sausage, Bean & Bacon Ragu, Lamb & Vegetable Bake, and Bacon, Leek & Potato Frittata.

And for dessert, we have something a little different - Rizogalo, a traditional Greek rice pudding that is creamy, comforting and delicately flavoured with cinnamon. Alongside Berry Pastries and Fresh Fruit Salad, there’s sure to be something to tempt you 😊

Come along for nourishing food, good company and a warm welcome.

❄️ Winter begins at Ricky's Place this Monday with a lovely menu full of warm, nourishing comfort food 😊
Come in from the cold and enjoy hearty homemade meals, delicious desserts and good company in our welcoming community space.
Whether you feel like a rich Spaghetti Bolognese, comforting Fish Pie, Fancy Frittata! or our warming Moroccan Chickpea Stew, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
And don’t forget dessert… creamy Basque Cheesecake and delicious French Apple Cake are also on the menu 🍰

Just a quick happy snap of some of our wonderful team from the Sapphire Community Pantry Celebrating National Volunteers Week with a simply marvellous Orange, Almond, Jaffa cake. Which was also made by one of our team. Without the time donated and cheerful demeanour of our team we simply wouldn’t be able to provide the amazing service we provide.

🍲 Keen to help out in the kitchen at Ricky's Place?
Ricky's Place is looking to grow our wonderful volunteer kitchen team 😊
We would especially love to hear from anyone with cooking or chef experience who might be interested in helping lead the kitchen on a fortnightly or monthly basis and helping provide cover when others are away.
Retired chefs, experienced home cooks, keen foodies - perhaps this might be something for you?
Ricky’s Place is a warm, welcoming and rewarding community space, serving healthy meals and connection each week to people from all walks of life.
Volunteering can be weekly, fortnightly, monthly - or simply as availability allows.
