It is a small non-profit organisation that is operated by the founder Georgina Stafford. Every year Georgina travels to Kenya to continue the original work of empowering the disadvantaged. This includes all people regardless of race or religion. As women and children appear to experience extreme poverty most of the work is done in this area. The best outcome is to enable families to stay together.
To achieve this outcome small business is created to provide a small regular income. Education for the children is a financial burden so Change 1 Life provides uniforms, shoes, books and fees to enable children to attend school. Without this help these children are unable to access schooling. Education is an investment for the family's future as it will help to break the poverty cycle. Change 1 Life also provides basic health education and where necessary transport to hospital and costs of medications and tests.
