What a day for the second Roebourne rodeo "behind the scenes" youth day with some absolutely and actual champions of their respective fields.

This year we had the joy of taking out the young people from wickham primary school to spend the day learning from some of the best hands in the country,

The round robin program allowed for groups to learn in a hands on environment with each station teaching a different skills inside the very arena of this weekends Roebourne rodeo.

We had a great lunch put on by the legends from Azure Minerals.

To finish out the day we had a team obstacle race teachers/trainers v Swans Roebourne/trainers v the students and to be expected the young people took out a hard win against the other teams. Whilst disappointing in the defeat we were all happy to walk away ....hamstrings in one piece.

Big thank you to Tui and the Karlayura Rodeo Inc. For the invitation to be a part of this for another year. Also to all the members of the ABCRA Est 1946 , trainers and the people who shared their passion, time and knowledge with us it made everyone feel welcome and at home especially the familiar faces from last year.

This years Roebourne rodeo looks like it will be even better then last year with juinors riding Friday and the seniors on Saturday your not going to want to miss it...

Here we go, FeNaClNG Festival day zero, bump in day sees the community put their hands up and say "when do you need it by"? And "that's not a problem" it's truly an awesome place to be.
Today saw a empty court and tent turned into the Swans youth hub in preparation for the weekends festival

After a few years off, were back at this year's FeNaClNG Festival and were putting together an all star team to deliver a high impact youth hub inside this years festival, 2 days of fun and free activities, providing a safe and inclusive place for young people aged 10 to 17 to come and take a breathe, join in on an activity, join in on sports on the courts, or just grab a water and chill.
