Time for our second Friday of the month w**ding session this Friday 9 October 9-11 am. There are plenty of w**ds, but also plenty of seedlings and local plants to liberate from those w**ds, so come along if you have time to spend in the bush. All welcome.

It would normally be our 4th Sunday of the month w**ding session this weekend, but it has been rescheduled to this Friday 25 September 9-11 am. There are plenty of w**ds so it would be great to remove as many as we can before they start to dry out and drop their seed. So please come along if you can.

Thanks to those who helped with the planting of the 876 seedlings last week. We got them all in, so hopefully they'll get established in the wetland areas where we planted them.

The Friends group has been donated about 300 local wetland plants, and we'd like to plant them on Tuesday (15 Sept) and/or Thursday (17 Sept) next week. If you are free and able to come along and help plant these plants, please get in touch via [email protected] Happy to be flexible with the timing based on your availability. A group of five to ten people would be great, so if you have any friends that are keen, bring them along.

Our regular second Friday of the month w**ding session is on tomorrow 11 September 9-11 am. If you are free and would like to see how the bush is going, come along and help us pull out some w**ds. The bush will thank you for it.

Our regular 2nd Friday of the month w**ding session is coming up this Friday 9-11 am. We'll be in the bushland opposite Environment House. All are welcome to come along and enjoy the bush and help reduce the w**d load to give the smaller plants and germinating seedlings a chance to survive.

Weeding session at the wetlands this Friday 24 July 9-11am, replacing the normal 4th Sunday of the month session. All are welcome to come down and have a look at the revegetation progress, and help the bush regenerate naturally by removing w**ds and allowing the local plants to thrive.

Lovely day today with over 1000 local natives planted in the previously lawned area at the end of King William Street. Now just need some rain to water them in.

A planting session is organised in the Wetlands for this Saturday 11 July 9-12 am. All are welcome, so please come along and bring your family and friends. There is also a free tree giveaway by the City of Bayswater, so there'll be plenty going on.

Celebrate NAIDOC Week and help protect and enhance the City's natural environment at this special community planting day featuring a smoking ceremony.

The 2nd Friday of the month w**ding session is on this Friday 10 July from 9 to 11 am. Please come along if you'd like to help out and hopefully we can clean up the bushland prior to a planting session on Saturday (see next post).
