Our regular 2nd Friday of the month weeding session is on tomorrow, Friday 12 June 9-11 am. The steady rain you are seeing today will have moved on and it should be a nice day to have a wander in the bushland. So come along if you'd like to do a little work and support our magnificent wetlands.

Just letting you know there is a Community Day scheduled for the Eric Singleton Wetlands on 21 June, with lots of activities going on from 9-12 am. So if you are free, come along, and bring the family with you. Fun for all ages.

All ages are invited to explore the wetlands, enjoy interactive displays and animal encounters, and connect with environmental groups at this free community discovery morning presented as part of the Wonderful Bayswater Wetlands project.

Our regular "second Friday of the month" weeding session is on this Friday 8 May 9-11am. All are welcome to come a spend a little quality time in the wetland.

The fallen Eucalyptus grandis trees have been removed and sadly we have lost six or seven years of regeneration as a result. Hopefully we can plant up the area with local natives again and restart the process, now with less competition from the huge eastern states Eucalypts.

Our regular Sunday monthly weeding session is on this Sunday 26 April 9-11 am. Recent rain has encouraged some of the annual weeds to germinate, so we will have weeds to pull, but along with that we will see some local seed germinating to help regenerate the bush. All welcome to come along.

Time for our 4th Sunday of the month weeding session this Sunday 22 March 8-10am. The bush is looking pretty good, but there are always weeds if you look hard enough, so come along if you'd like to help out.

Our normal second Friday of the month weeding session in March will not occur, but instead we will have two Sunday sessions. So the next weeding event is on Sunday 8 March 8-10 am. Always plenty of weeds to target, so come along if you would like to help out.

Our normal 4th Sunday of the month weeding session at Eric Singleton Wetlands has been shifted forward a week because of the long weekend, so the session will be held this Sunday 9-11am. We will be targeting the area on the southern side of the wetlands that we planted in winter as a number of weeds are coming up around the new plants. The weather is looking good with a maximum in the high 20s. If you are free and can help out you'd be very welcome.
