Welcome! Come along between 9:30-11:30am Monday and Wednesday mornings during the school term. You’ll find us at St Matthews Hall in Stirling Square.

We have a fantastic outdoor space, indoor play, crafts and weekly bread making. We are a friendly member run playgroup, and always welcome new families to join us. We are an incorporated not-for-profit organisation with a volunteer committee who meet each term. All members are eligible to help run playgroup in whatever way they are able, whether it be helping to organise activities, volunteering f

or the committee, or reading a story occasionally. WE ARE CURRENTLY RUNNING ONE SESSION ON MONDAY MORNINGS 9:30am - 11:30am

St Matthews Hall, Stirling Square, Guildford (we are not a church group, we hire their hall)

NO BOOKING NEEDED, just come along and scan the QR code on the welcome poster which will give instructions on providing your details and paying the session fee by bank transfer or credit card (we are cashless).

1) Session fees are $6 casual, or $50 per term.

2) Playgroup WA membership is also required for insurance for your child/children. $35 per family per calendar year or $15 concession per family per calendar year. You can attend one session without needing to join Playgroup WA, this is payable from your second visit onwards. Being a Playgroup WA member also covers you at any other PGWA playgroup in the state. Session fees allow us to pay our hall hire fee and playgroup expenses such as craft materials and morning tea supplies. Membership covers the entire family including grandparents, aunties and uncles, and all children in the family. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to message us or come along to a session.

🌞 Our playgroup committee members spent the day sorting all our toys and getting ready for another term of fun and play! We are looking forward to seeing everyone again next week 🤩

For all families attending playgroup this week if you have any 2L rinsed milk cartons please bring along as we are seeking a few more for our Easter craft next week. Our little ones will be creating their own Easter basket!

🚨 Reminder 🚨

Hi Families,

Just a reminder that there is no Playgroup next Monday the 2nd March due to the public holiday. We are running the Wednesday session on the 4th March. Have a fun and safe long weekend ♥️

Hi Families!

We will be organising for the kids to create some Easter baskets for our craft activity in the coming weeks and are seeking 2L rinsed milk cartons. If you can save any and bring to playgroup that would be greatly appreciated!

Playgroup Volunteer Needed 🧸🍎

We’re looking for a warm, committed and reliable volunteer to join our lovely playgroup community every other fortnight on a Wednesday!

When:
- Alternate Wednesday’s 9:00am - 11:45am
Where:
- St Matthews Church Hall in Stirling Square, Guildford

Your first ‘shift’ would be Wednesday 11th Feb, and then fortnightly onwards. We only run during the school term and break over the school holidays.

Role: Kitchen Helper
You’ll be helping to keep our playgroup running smoothly by:
- Chopping fruit for morning snack 🍎
- Cooking the bread our children make 🥖
- Cleaning up the kitchen area afterwards
- Playing with the children!

Just to let everyone know our final playgroup for the year will be tomorrow 10th December 9:30am-11:30am - there will be no session running next week. What a wonderful year we have had with our little ones and we can’t wait to see everyone in the new year!

💃 🪩 Guildford Family Playgroup has a table at the upcoming Guildford Association Music Quiz night! $20 per person. All funds raised at the event go towards the St Matthew’s hall air conditioner installation - where playgroup gathers. If you would like to join for a night of fun and music trivea let us know 🥰
