🔧😊It was a bumper edition for our last Share & Repair of the year.
♻️Our annual collective efforts have saved more than 1400kg from ending up in landfill. Yes, repair is where it’s at people! 🎉

🧵🛠️All year long our talented volunteer sewers, electrical, mechanical (& other) fixers have been kept busy breathing new life into your tired household items. 🚲🔧
Meanwhile generous community members have learned new skills, enjoyed a yarn and shared home baked treats and garden produce. 🫜🍰

Share & Repair will take a break in January but we hope to see you in 2026 when we return on Saturday 7 February!

Busy day at yesterday’s Share and Repair. 😊 We fixed a coffee machine, clothing, bikes, an electric sander, a rocking horse and more. 🚲 Thanks to those who shared home grown rosemary and farm picked strawberries. 🍓 Next Share and Share is on Saturday 6 December, our last session for 2025. See you there!

For the last few days we've been sharing the responses to our local government candidate survey. So far we've heard from candidates in West Ward, South Ward and Central Ward.
None of the three North Ward candidates - Anthony Pittaway, Josh Eveson and Calvin Cheung - responded to our survey about their top priorities, tree canopy, active transport and renewable energy.
If you you live in North Ward and would like to know more about candidates' positions on these (or any other) issues, we encourage you to contact them directly and let them know about the issues that matter to you.
