Inclusive and Diverse Communities (IDC) is excited to share our newly finalised My Aged Care Frequently Asked Questions resource!

This resource brings together the most common questions raised by older people and carers, developed and refined through our My Aged Care information sessions, community engagement, and collaboration with our bilingual link workers — ensuring it reflects the real questions, concerns and experiences of culturally and linguistically diverse older people and their carers.

To make sure this information reaches as many people as possible, it's now available in English, Spanish, Macedonian, Mandarin, Khmer and Vietnamese. 🌏

Inclusive and Diverse Communities Incorporated proudly co-hosted a Wear It Purple event on 26 August to empower young LGBTIQA+ people and allies residing in SW Sydney.

Participants enjoyed a fun afternoon of well-curated Q***r Screen short films, arts and craft, art competition voting, light refreshment and socialising.

Thank you to funding body ACON and the support from City of Canterbury Bankstown Council and CB Inclusive Communities Network working group.

CB Inclusive Communities Network will be hosting a Wear It Purple event at Bankstown (close to public transport and shopping centre), welcoming all young people from LGBTIQA+ backgrounds and allies.

FREE movies, hot food, beverage, and giveaway bags.

🏠 Homelessness Week 2026 | 3–9 August

Inclusive and Diverse Communities Inc (IDC) recognises the urgent need for collective action during Homelessness Week 2026.

IDC is currently coordinating with emergency relief services to assist unhoused residents in Western Sydney.

Everyone deserves access to safe, secure, and affordable housing. IDC is committed to supporting our Western Sydney communities and is currently working alongside emergency relief services to assist residents experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Together, we can raise awareness, strengthen support networks, and advocate for solutions that help create a more inclusive community for all.
