Headway ADP is a specialist support service for adults with an acquired brain injury. An individually tailored supports provide participants with the opportunity to identify and achieve their goals with one-on-one support. A Service Coordinator works with the participants providing support to develop a plan and the steps involved in reaching the participants goals and provides feedback on their pr

ogress. Skill Development Courses (SDC) are small group based activities that are run at Headway House or in the community. The SDCs run for ten weeks at a time and provide participants with a supportive environment in which to try new activities or learn new skills. Headway ADP has a powerful panel of guest speakers with "real life" stories on the impact brain injury has had on their lives. Each speaker has developed their own interactive style of presentation to spread their message to the community. Headway ADP speakers conduct presentations at schools, traffic offenders programs, universities and other community organisations.
