Adult’s Only Trivia Night 2026 is coming in Term 2 on Saturday July 25th!

Get your teams together now and buy your tickets to the best night on our calendar for our Parents, Friends, Families, Staff and Aspley Community. This year tickets are $15 per person. Team tables start at 4ppl up to 12ppl. Don’t have a team that’s okay just let us know when buying your ticket and we will find you a great team to join. When you buy your tickets please indicate which team you are a part of by putting the team name or the name of your team captain.

This year the theme is Book Week. With prizes for the best themed team start thinking of what you will be coming along as. It could be a favourite character, a favourite book or author, a book series, a book genre. Have some fun and think outside the box. Dress up as a team and decorate up your table, it all adds to the fun.

For those that came last year you would have remembered teams bringing a secret Santa gift to go in our prize haul for the night? Well this year we thought it could be fun for teams to bring along a surprise prize book to contribute to the prize haul. This isn’t compulsory but always brings a giggle to the winners faces when they see what teams have brought in. It can be any book that you think would make a great prize for our winners on the night. Please wrap it to keep it a surprise.

We will be having our usual silent auction on the night as well as some bonus points opportunities. There will be both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available to purchase on the night along with snack items. Teams are encouraged to byo food for their team table.

We are also having a raffle this year that is available to all at our school, not just those attending on the night. You don’t have to be in attendance to win, the winner will be notified by phone and email. The prize will be a $200 uniform shop voucher and a $50 snack shack voucher. Tickets start at $5 each and are available to purchase on humanitix at the same place you can get your trivia night tickets.

We are very lucky to once again have McGrath Estate Agents Aspley as our Major Sponsor for this year as well as the very talented Andrew McMicking's Trivia to be our quiz master! Thank you very much to you both for your on going support of our school.

Head now to https://events.humanitix.com/trivia-2026 to purchase your raffle tickets and trivia tickets.

We look forward to all the fun that this night brings! Let’s show the kiddos how we would do Book Week!!!

JUNIOR SCHOOL ADULTS (Prep - 2) YOU ARE NEEDED!!!

Please sign up to help at next weeks Junior Sports Day to allow our special activities to happen. If I don't get enough volunteers I will have to cancel them.

I really don't want to dissappoint the kids by cancelling the Show Your Team Spirit colour activity. The senior students loved it and I want the younger students to have the same experience. If you can't make it to the school at 7:45 that is okay. Just put a comment in when you sign up as to when you can arrive.

I also need helpers for during the lunch breaks in the hall for the parents picnic and bake stall. All of these volunteering opportunities are very easy to do and they won't stop you from seeing your student compete on the day.

Both of these activities add to the fun of the day while providing team spirit, food and drinks to all in attendance from students to spectators.

Please share the word and get a group of parent friends together to sign up for one or more of the activities today.

Thank you

Senior Sports Day tomorrow updates and reminders

Parents Picnic orders have now closed on Flexischools. If you haven't pre-ordered your lunch through the parents picnic event on Flexischools you will have to make arrangements for your own lunch in the breaks tomorrow. You can BYO lunch or PRE-ORDER through the tuckshop. The Tuckshop isn't able to do sales over the counter tomorrow so please make sure you pre-order through Flexischools tonight. The ladies will be very busy with the sports day meal deals for the students. To make it easier to order create a parent profile and place your order in your name. We will be selling softdrink, water, chips, chocolate, lollie bags and ice creams over the counter tomorrow in the hall kitchenette. You can also purchase from the bake stall inside the hall. We will only be offering these services during the breaks. Cash and card accepted.

STUDENTS - Show your team spirit colour activity is tomorrow morning between 8:15 - 8:45am on the junior oval. Bring your slip with you and line up in your house behind the station on your slip. We ask only students that have a slip (an order through flexischools) come down to the oval. We CAN'T take cash or orders on the morning. Students can only get done what is on their slip.

Students can also purchase from the bake stall tomorrow in both breaks and the tuckshop will have over the counter sales in second break for students.

A reminder to the parents and spectators attending senior sports carnival tomorrow and Thursday.

The P&C won’t be providing any food or drink services tomorrow, attendees will have to byo food and drinks or purchase through our Tuckshop on Flexischools. Our Tuckshop doesn’t provide over the counter food sales so you must pre-order on Flexischools (you can make a parent profile so that your order goes to you rather than your student).

On Thursday the P&C will be facilitating a Parents Picnic in the hall on both breaks. Available to purchase on the day will be snacks, drinks and baked items. We are also offering (for pre order only) soup and sandwiches in first break. Soup and sandwiches are available to purchase on Flexischools until midday tomorrow. Of course you can byo food and drinks again or purchase through the tuckshop on the Thursday too. Items will be available until supplies run out.

Our bake stall can only happen with donations of baked items from our Aspley community. If you can bake yummy treats or know where to purchase some from 😉 then we would love to receive them. Baked items can be dropped at our tuckshop tomorrow anytime before 2pm or on Thursday morning before 9am. Please include an ingredient list and label your name on containers.

If you can help out on Thursday either before school or during the two breaks please head to www.signup.com/go/sDOYPMt to put your name down for one of our open volunteer spots.

Junior School families your turn is coming next week but you can sign up to help, get ready to bake or purchase your food and colour fun items now on Flexischools.

LOOKING FOR- Numerous lonely items looking for their ideal partner to take them home! Are you their ideal match? Come along to the hall to check them out now.

Nat from our Tuckshop team has been sorting Lost Property. Items on the table have a name. Anything without a name is either going in the bin or will be resold thru the uniform shop.

Items that are left will eventually (i hope) make its way back to the student.

Water bottles are on the shelf outside the uniform shop.

Please spread the word and ask your kiddos to have a look for their lost items.

We have the spectators covered but we haven't forgotten the students!

On senior sports day we will have a number of meal deals and special items available for all students to enjoy.

Available now on Flexischools to order on Thursday 18th June we have offers across both breaks.

Along with these special offerings we will be opening over the counter sales in second break of our usual offerings plus some extra goodies.

Students can also purchase from the bake stall in 1st and 2nd break. This will be located just inside the hall doors on the side closest to the tuckshop. *Please note the Bake Stall is pending donations from families*

Jnr sports day deals are to follow later this week. These depend on our tuckshop stock supplies. We run our product down before the holidays to avoid having too much food on premises.
