ASNA is inviting clubs to nominate individuals for Netball NT’s 2026–2027 Coach and Umpire Development Programs, which will run alongside the 17U and 19U athlete selection process.

The Alice Springs components will be held at Pat Gallagher Netball Stadium on 28–29 November 2026 and 30–31 January 2027.

We particularly encourage clubs to think about the people within your club who are committed, showing potential and ready to take the next step in their coaching or umpiring pathway.

For coaches, Netball NT is looking for participants with Development Coach Accreditation or higher who are active at Club or Association level and have potential to move into representative coaching.

For umpires, clubs can consider A and B Badge umpires, as well as C Badge umpires who have demonstrated potential to progress.

Participants need to be available for both weekends, and clubs should include each nominee’s shirt size.

Please see the attached program outlines for further details.

We would love to see strong representation from across our ASNA clubs, so please consider who you can put forward. Please send through nominations to Deb Gray - [email protected]

TRAIN LIKE STORM - TERM 4 ENROLMENTS OPEN

Sometimes getting better means stepping outside your usual training environment.

Train Like Storm brings athletes from different clubs together to train, learn and challenge themselves alongside players they might usually only see on the other side of the court.

Different training partners bring different movement, different combinations and different challenges.

You might need to learn how a new shooter likes to receive the ball, adjust to the timing of a different defender, communicate with someone you’ve never played alongside before or find another option when your usual combination isn’t there.

That’s all part of developing your game awareness and becoming an athlete who can adapt to what is happening around you.

And while you’re doing it, you might make some new friends along the way.

Open to athletes born 2007–2012 who have played in 15&U, 17&U or Seniors this year.

Darwin // Territory Netball Stadium // Fridays 5:00–6:30pm
Alice Springs // Pat Gallagher Netball Centre // Fridays 3:30–5:00pm
