Alice Springs Town Council Family Halloween Event for those interested!

21/10/2026

*sigh* We have made the decision to cancel/postpone our *not Halloween party*. We lost part of our shed in the recent storm which has created some safety issues.

BUT don't worry because we have also seen the council is putting on an awesome FREE pop-up family event on the same evening! (I will share details in another post!).

Anyway - so sorry to those of you who were looking forward to this (so were we!!), but we will do it another time next year! - Libby

It is Aussie Bird Count Week! If you are keen on watching the bird show at Desert Park tomorrow we are going to meet at the playground by 10.10am to walk to the show together!! We will have a play and coffee/ice block at the café after. It is going to be super hot so please be mindful of this and come prepared! (There is no charge for this it's just a social meet-up 😊)

Our normal Thursday playgroup will run as normal 9.30-11.30. I have fenced off the shed but please just be mindful of this with your kids. We will have some water play set up so bring a change of clothes!

We may also have a scavenger hunt to see how many sticks the kids can pick up 😂😅

See you soon hopefully!

Unfortunately we have had a bit of damage at Playgroup house with this weather and are still without power, so playgroup is canceled for tomorrow 😪

We will hopefully be back next Thursday!

Thanks,
Libby
