So Travel Watchers.....

Long day in the saddle from Devil's Marbles Hotel to Tennant Creek to Mary Ann Dam to Renner Springs to Highway Roadhouse to Daley Waters pub. 522kms. And it has warmed up so we had to turn on the flow-through air-conditioning 🤣. Mmm that distinctive odour as Cattle truck passed by is unforgetable 🤔

But I digress... "Mash on Bash" lead the way as we made our way from Devil's Marbles Hotel to Tennant Creek. Found an abliging Mechanical workshop who fixed the petrol leaking petrol inlet rubber hose.
Filled up with fuel & treked to Mary Ann dam for lunch.
Mash on Bash lead the way again to Renner Springs. Chrissy, Sherree, Denise & Fiona are staying at Renner Springs overnight.
Jen & I did the final leg from Renner Springs to Daley Waters via a fuel stop at the Highway Roadhouse.

Arrived at 545pm & booked into our room. Next to the Daley Waters Pub bar & spent the next 3 hours catching up with our Bash Family & New Bash Virgins'. Great night. 😀

So..... travel watchers
Final pack & goodbye Axle & Brenda Greening who have been putting us up & putting up with Us. A huge "Thank You" once again. 😀

Jen drove to Ti tree. We travelled the first 14kms to "NT Bakery" & met the "Mash on Bash" Crew with Chrissy. With the required coffee & "Kichener Bun" consumed, we all headed up the Stuart Highway 32kms to the next stop... "Tropic of Capricorn".

Some photos of the auspicious moment crossing the Tropic of Capricorn. We started our engines & headed to "Aileron Service Station" some 104kms away. Tourist photos & lunch. A petrol leak from the rear petrol tank inlet rubber connection. Some cloth duct tape slowed the leak until the petrol level fell below the leak.

Back on the road to "Ti Tree Roadhouse" 60kms away. Stopped there & topped up with the $2.70/ltr. No fuel leak from inlet rubber.

Next stop "Devil's Marbles Hotel" 200kms away. Booked into our accommodation. Dinner at the pub & a game or 2 of pool. Daley Waters tomorrow... 522kms.

Monday we started the 1430kms trek back to Alice Springs

Overnight stays at Spuds Roadhouse, Pimba Monday & Marla Roadhouse, Tuesday, where We caught up with Glenn & Sarah Bamford plus Peter Gazey & Ronnie Hillen for drinks & dinner.

Spend 3 nights at "Castle Greening" with Axle & Brenda Greening doing washing, cleaning & putting the "Bluey Car" to bed.

We head back to Brisvagus on Saturday & another successful Bash is over.

An overwhelming thank you to Territory Wreckers, Alice Springs, Northern Territory for The Bluey Car preparation. It did not miss a beat except "Thumper" (AKA Centre Bearing & housing) the rabbit got caught in the tail shaft. Quickly fixed by Smedley TYRE Service Tailem Bend, South Australia.

Otherwise Bluey ran a great Bash. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
