DID YOU KNOW?

- The Alice Springs Show is not a government funded event and runs with the support of sponsors, volunteers, ticket sales etc. ❤️

- Over 20,000 people stream through the gates each year to enjoy the festivities (well, when its not raining 🤣)

- The first Show was held at Anzac oval in 1960, organised by a committee of 29 civic-minded volunteers with a vision to promote the best of our region.

- The Poultry Pavilion has a pretty cool history. When the Show moved to Blatherskite Park Alice Springs the Poultry Club actually physically moved its old tin shed from Traeger Park to the new Showgrounds!

How many of these did you know?
