The Rose Garden Fountain, also known as the Boy and Serpent Fountain, was confirmed as a State Heritage Place in 1986. It was manufactured by the Coalbrookdale Company and is a rare example of their cast-iron fountain designs. The fountain was erected in Adelaide's Botanic Garden in 1908. Eventually, it fell into disrepair but was restored to working condition in 1982. It now stands in the middle of the Economic Botany Garden.
