The Coffs Coast Careers Market delivered again today.

Our Lindsay team was proud to be one of 60 exhibitors connecting with the next generation of talent, with representatives from both Lindsay Transport and Lindsay Rural on site.

With approximately 1,200 students attending from more than 15 schools across the region, it was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the diverse career pathways available across our business.

While people know us for moving freight, many are surprised to learn just how many roles it takes behind the scenes to keep Australia moving and communities stocked with fresh refrigerated produce — from drivers and mechanics to operations, administration, warehousing, safety, HR and more.

A great day talking careers, opportunities and the future workforce of our industry.

A huge effort by our Lindsay Rural teams and branches for getting behind Do It For Dolly Day💙🦋

From BBQs and raffles to important conversations across the network, our people showed incredible support for a cause that matters.

Together, we sold 1,100 raffle tickets — DOUBLE last year’s result — with our fundraising tally now exceeding an amazing $34K!

A massive thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, hosted BBQs, and helped make the day such a success across all branches.

What an amazing shot to capture our new B-Triple configuration running along the Pacific Highway between Sydney and Chinderah (NSW/QLD border)!

By moving more with fewer trucks, we’re improving efficiency, reducing fuel use per tonne, and lowering our impact on the road network.

It’s a strong example of how high-productivity vehicles are helping to drive safer, smarter and more sustainable transport.

Great result for our team and for the communities we operate in.

Today, we pause to honour and remember all those who have served, and continue to serve, our country.

Many of our employees have served our country. We acknowledge them all and this year we recognise Katie McMahon, our Head of Safety, Risk and Compliance.

Katie joined the Army in 1998 as an Intelligence Officer, serving until 2018.

For Katie, ANZAC Day is deeply personal: “It means thinking about how fortunate we are to have what we have and live how we live in Australia. It was our veterans who gave so we could have it.”

Katie encourages everyone to take a moment to acknowledge those who have served: “Thank people you might know or come across for their service.”

Lest we forget.

Yesterday, our SRT Logistics team hit the ground at the Hobart & Southern Tasmania Careers Expo—connecting with over 2,700 attendees across 135+ exhibitors.

A great opportunity to showcase what a career in transport and logistics really looks like—from paddock to plate—and the vital role our industry plays every day.

Plenty of great conversations with the next generation—we’re excited about what’s ahead.

Our CEO Clay McDonald reflects on this year's IWD theme "Give to Gain”. He reminds us that progress requires contributions from all of us.

"At Lindsay, our aim is to recruit, train and develop more women in our business to enhance our performance through the diverse perspectives, background and capability they bring. Gender equality in Lindsay requires active and ongoing support of everyone in the organisation.

As we celebrate this day, I encourage each of you to continue to “give”. Give sponsorship to emerging female talent; give space for diverse voices to be heard; give time to support someone else on their learning journey; and give visible support to the women in your teams. When we do this, we all achieve better outcomes for our team members, for our business and for our customers.”

WB Hunter has been front and centre supporting communities impacted by Victoria’s bushfires, which since 7 January have burned more than 400,000 hectares, destroyed almost 900 buildings — including over 250 homes, and tragically claimed lives, livestock and wildlife.

Standing shoulder to shoulder with other local businesses, WB Hunter's communities across regional Victoria have rallied to support recovery efforts — providing critical supplies such as fencing and practical essentials, and even local coffee vans offering free coffee to volunteers working tirelessly on the ground.

This is community supporting community when it matters most. Show your support by visiting the WB Hunters page here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Eu4WnwahP/. Like, Share or follow the link to donate to support those in need.
