A day filled with laughter, warmth and appreciation! 💛
On 27 June 2026, Cathay Community Association held our annual Staff and Volunteer Gathering, bringing together our staff, volunteers, directors, families and friends for a joyful day of gratitude, connection and celebration.
This gathering was a special opportunity for us to express our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated staff and volunteers, who have continued to serve our community with care, commitment and kindness throughout the year. Because of your passion, love and contribution, Cathay continues to be a warm, welcoming and caring community family.
This year’s gathering was even more lively and exciting. We introduced a new photo booth corner, giving everyone the chance to capture happy and precious memories with their families and friends. We also arranged two ponies for the children to enjoy pony rides. Compared with last year’s one pony, this year’s two ponies brought even more joy, laughter and excitement to the children.
One of the most touching parts of the day was the food and sharing. Everyone contributed in their own way — some cooked delicious dishes, while others brought a plate to share. We also enjoyed a beautiful roast suckling pig and the warm, fun moments of roasting marshmallows together over the barbecue. Everyone gathered around, eating, laughing and chatting, creating the warm feeling of a big family celebration.
Even after the scheduled finishing time, many people were still not ready to leave. Everyone continued singing karaoke, chatting, taking photos and enjoying this special time together. In addition to the food, animal interactions, pony rides and photo booth corner, we also included fun activities and cyber scam prevention promotion, allowing everyone to enjoy the day while also raising awareness about online safety and scam prevention.
This truly reflects the spirit that Cathay values deeply: caring for seniors, supporting families, connecting our community, and working together to build a safer, more supportive and loving environment for all.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped organise, support and attend this special gathering. Because of your participation and contribution, the day became even more meaningful, memorable and joyful.

充滿歡笑、溫暖與感謝的一天！💛
2026年6月27日，國泰社區會舉辦了一年一度的員工及義工聚會，讓我們的員工、義工、董事、家人及朋友聚首一堂，共度一個充滿喜悅、感恩與連繫的美好日子。
這次聚會是一個特別的機會，讓我們向一直默默付出、用心服務的員工及義工表達衷心感謝。感謝大家在過去一年中的努力、關懷與支持。正因為有你們的熱誠、愛心和奉獻，國泰才能成為一個溫暖、友善、充滿人情味的社區大家庭。
今年的聚會更加熱鬧和豐富！我們新增了拍照打卡區，讓大家可以與家人朋友留下開心又珍貴的合照；今年亦特別安排了兩隻小馬供小朋友騎乘，相比去年只有一隻小馬，今年小朋友玩得更加盡興，現場充滿歡笑聲和驚喜。
最令人感動的是，這次聚會不只是活動安排精彩，更充滿了大家的心意。每位參加者都用心準備食物，有人親自下廚，有人帶來一碟美食與大家分享，還有香噴噴的烤乳豬，以及大家一起用燒烤爐烤棉花糖的溫馨時刻。大家圍在一起吃、一起笑、一起聊天，氣氛就像一個大家庭的聚會一樣溫暖。
活動過了原定時間，大家仍然不捨得離開，繼續唱卡拉OK、聊天、拍照，享受這份難得的相聚時光。當日除了美食、動物互動、小馬騎乘和拍照打卡區，現場亦有歡樂活動，以及防電騙宣傳，讓大家在輕鬆愉快的氣氛中，也能提升防騙和網絡安全意識。
這正正體現了國泰一直重視的精神：關心長者、關心家庭、關心社區，並與大家一同建立更安全、更互助、更有愛的生活環境。
衷心感謝每一位協助籌備、支持及出席這次聚會的朋友。因為有大家的參與和付出，這一天變得更加精彩、難忘和有意義。
