Belong Community Acacia Ridge Community Centre has provided essential services and support to the local communities of Acacia Ridge and surrounding districts for over 30 years.

The centre has been managed by Communify since 2022. We have recently adopted 'belong' as our new name as we are now delivering services and programs to people and communities far beyond our base in Acacia Ridge. belong (formerly Acacia Ridge Community Support Inc.) has been delivering services to the community for almost 25 years. We are a team that shares a belief that communities are strengthen

ed and positive when the most vulnerable are supported and included in all aspects of life. belong is proud to provide place-based support and welcome through our two community spaces: The vibrant Acacia Ridge Community Centre, and our new base at The Social Space in Moorooka. Our headquarters at the Acacia Ridge Community Centre is open to the community Monday - Thursday from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm or 4:30pm by appointment only on (07) 3277 4893. The Food Co-op is open from Tuesday - Thursday from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Both locations also include spaces available to to hire by the community.

Together, we turn fresh ingredients from our Belong Food Co-Op into delicious meals, all thanks to the creativity of our amazing volunteers and community members. 🥗🍚🍜

Students in the Laboratory Skills course took their learning beyond the classroom with a hands-on water quality investigation at Sea World! 🌊🔬

From collecting samples at Broadwater, to then testing water from the aquarium exhibits, they explored how salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, and other factors shape aquatic environments. Guided by industry-standard procedures, students gained real-world experience in environmental monitoring and saw firsthand how science protects our oceans and marine life 🦈.

Did you know that most people with Hepatitis B don’t even know they have it? There are often no symptoms at first, but if left untreated, it can lead to serious health issues like liver cancer.

That’s why we’re so grateful to the Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ) for visiting our Beginner English class at Acacia Ridge to share vital information about Hepatitis, as part of their Love Health program. And there’s more good news—ECCQ will be back at Acacia Ridge Community Centre on Tuesday, June 23rd, from 10:30am to 12pm, offering FREE finger-prick blood tests for Hepatitis B and C!
