This year we will mark 5 years since the graduation of the first class of the USAP Community School! The Class of 2021 joined the school at it's opening in January 2020 and were integral to building the community culture at the school, and now we get to celebrate them as they graduate university!✨️

We are very proud of the journeys they have all taken over the last four years as they continue to create impact all over the world.

We would like to take some time over the next few weeks to acknowledge members of the USAP Class of 2021 who have just graduated from their undergraduate programs.

For who: A Zimbabwean studying abroad and currently in their 2nd or 3rd year of university looking for a hands on experiential internship back home.

We are excited to announce we have 9 teams registered for the 2026 Innovation Challenge! 🎉

9 teams will be working on solutions to address the challenge of how Zimbabweans can turn their education, skills, and experience into sustai income-generating opportunities.

The Innovation Challenge will be launched this Friday, 2 October, and officially run from 5 October - 4 December, 2026.

Education Matters, in partnership with Kutunga Design Academy & Innovation Lab, invites you to the Education to an Income Generating Opportunity Challenge!

💡 An 8-week virtual challenge(Oct-Nov) to explore barriers between education and income-generating opportunities and develop practical, inclusive, sustainable, and child- and youth-centred solutions.

🛡️ Using Kutunga’s Safety by Design approach, teams will research, validate, engage users, test ideas, and refine their solutions before presenting their final proposals.

*👥 TEAM OF 6*
• 5 Mastercard Foundation Scholars / ALA / ALU alumni
• 1 USAP or Zimbabwe Career Connect alumnus
• 3 women + 3 men required

The USAP Community School is now accepting applications for its 2027 intake (Class of 2028).

USAPCS is a residential A Level school in Marondera offering a rigorous, holistic education to high-achieving, low-income Zimbabweans and refugee students from all 10 provinces of Zimbabwe.

Our program combines Cambidge A Level Sciences with Humanities, Research Methods, and Computer Science. We also provide strong extracurriculars in community service, arts, and sports. Our goal is to prepare students for top global universities, and careers of impact.

Who can apply?
- Current Form 4 or Lower 6 students
- Students with a competitive transcript/O Level results
- Demonstrated financial disadvantage
