A heartfelt thank you to our Guest of Honour, Mr Jason Mwanza, for sharing his wisdom and insights at the She Moves Money workshop.

His message served as a powerful reminder that building wealth is not about luck—it is about making intentional choices, staying disciplined, and having a clear vision for the future. He encouraged women to take charge of their financial journeys, embrace opportunities for growth, and make decisions that create lasting impact for themselves and their families.

What stood out most was the call to move beyond simply earning an income and begin thinking strategically about wealth creation, financial independence, and long-term prosperity.

His contribution added immense value to the conversation and inspired participants to approach their finances with greater confidence, purpose, and determination.

Thank you, for challenging us to think differently, dream bigger, and take meaningful steps toward a more secure financial future.

"The future belongs to those who prepare for it."

This was one of the key themes from Mwali Chisala's insightful session at the *She Moves Money Workshop*.

His presentation challenged participants to think beyond immediate financial needs and begin building strategies that create long-term security and opportunity. From exploring both local and international investment options to understanding the importance of diversification, the message was clear: sustainable wealth requires intentional planning.

A particularly thought-provoking discussion centered on the impact of technology and artificial intelligence on the future of work. As industries evolve and traditional career paths shift, financial resilience will become more important than ever.

Mwali also highlighted practical steps that individuals can take today, including building an emergency fund, monitoring investment performance, and acquiring assets that can appreciate in value over time.

One lesson stood out above all: financial freedom is not a destination reached by chance. It is the result of consistent decisions, disciplined planning, and a commitment to preparing for the future.

One of the highlights of She Moves Money was the insightful presentation by Namunyuka Jere on investing and wealth creation.

She challenged us to rethink our relationship with money, reminding us that financial growth goes beyond earning and spending. True wealth is built when we invest, allowing our money to work for us and grow over time.

Namunyuka highlighted the important role investors play in supporting businesses to raise capital, create value, and drive economic growth, while at the same time generating returns through dividends and capital appreciation.

She also emphasized the importance of understanding a company's growth stage, making informed investment decisions, and seeking guidance from licensed investment professionals.

A key takeaway from her presentation was that building wealth requires a shift in mindset—from simply managing money to intentionally investing it. The earlier we start, the better positioned we are to create long-term financial security and generational wealth.

One of the standout presentations at the She Moves Money Workshop was delivered by Lyapa Mpempulwa, who challenged us to think differently about wealth and financial freedom.

One statement that stayed with me was: “Income is not equivalent to wealth.”

Many people focus on earning more, but true wealth is built through discipline, consistency, investing, and making your money work for you.

Lyapa reminded us of the importance of understanding our “why”, knowing our risk appetite, and building diversified investment portfolios that can create long term value.

She also addressed a reality many people face: black tax. Supporting family and loved ones is important, but it should not come at the expense of your own financial future. As she wisely noted, givers need limits because takers often have none.

A powerful reminder that wealth creation is not just about how much we earn, but about the decisions we make with what we earn.
