Today, as we celebrate Youth Day under the theme "Voices Amplified; Innovations Ignited," we are reminded of the power, energy, and potential that lie within us as young people. This is not just a day of celebration, but a call to action, a reminder that we are the architects of our own future.
As youth, we face many challenges, social pressures, and even doubt from those who do not see our full potential. But let me tell you this: we are not the leaders of tomorrow, we are the leaders of today! The change we desire starts with us! Through the Youth Action Movement (YAM), we amplify our voices for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and drive innovation to transform our communities.
We are not just dreamers, we are doers! We speak up for SRHR, we educate, we advocate, and we support one another. Through one-on-one conversations, social media campaigns, and community engagements, we are shaping a future where young people are informed, confident, and empowered. Every single one of us here has the ability to make a difference, whether in our schools, communities, or even on social media platforms. Let us use our voices wisely, our actions purposefully, and our energy to build a better world.
So, I challenge each of you today: Speak up for what is right. Stay committed. Stand united. Together, we are unstoppable!
