During Monday's storm, strong winds blew a tree over onto the BostonCID fence. The tree was cut up and the fence was repaired today by the contractor.

A resident contacted Boston CID to report that an individual had jumped over his wall and stolen a bicycle from his property.
Within minutes, the suspect was located and apprehended in Boston by a Boston CID Public Safety Officer.
A case was opened, and the suspect was handed over to SAPS.
This incident highlights excellent teamwork and rapid response.

Boston CID teams managed traffic on Frans Conradie Drive following a pedestrian-vehicle collision opposite Pick n Pay. The Control Room operator swiftly notified emergency services to assist the injured party.

BostonCID Control room operator noticed a person walking empty handed into Boston and moments later carrying a box walking out of Boston towards Voortrekker Rd.

PSO's were dispatched and the person was uprehended in Voortrekker Rd with a box of prepaid equipment he was taken back to the vehicle that he broke into for further investigation.

Kudos to our Controllroom operator and PSO for their quick response.

Cable theft suspects caught red-handed in Tielman Marais park.

BostonCID control room operator spotted two suspects digging next to a light pole in Tielman Marais park on CCTV. PSO were informed and the suspects were caught in Durban Road.

BostonCID Controllroom operator noticed a suspicious person jumping a wall at a business property, the controller immediately dispatched the PSO's who apprehended the suspect with a bag of tools used to brake into properties.

Suspect was handed over to SAPS for futher investigation and prosecution.

Boston CID Public Safety Officer was dispatched by our Controllroom operator who noticed suspicious looking persons on the CCTV, walking on Frans Conradie towards Pick and Pay. At approximately 00H50, the PSO arrived at Pick and Pay where he found 4 suspects, The PSO approached the suspects to establish what they were doing there. One of suspects pulled a fire arm and pointed it at the PSO. The PSO drew his firearm and fired at the suspect that had the firearm. The suspects then tried to flee, but with the assistance of FADT Armed Response, all suspects were apprehended and a replica firearm was retrieved.

Suspects were handed over to SAPS for further investigation.
