Fitra Parcel Reminder

’Aishah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: When the last ten nights (of Ramadan) would begin, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) would keep awake at night (for prayer and devotion), awaken his family and prepare himself to be more diligent in worship. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Gentle reminder for those still wanting to contribute towards the Fitrah Parcels. The target amount for Fitra Parcels is 200 parcels. Please donate generously as many families in need of a parcel.

All donations towards Fitra parcels to please be in by Thursday 4th April to ensure time for delivery. It is R550 per parcel but any amount you can give is most welcome.

*Ramadan Food Parcel Appeal*

We pray that his message finds you in the best of health.

Your generosity towards our food parcel appeal thus far has helped to care for, nourish, and assist 200 needy families. We are mindful of the challenges that the current economy has on a lot of our usual donors.

One Ramadan parcel costs approximately R650, and the aim with your help, is to achieve our goal of making the 200 parcels. We are need of donations - any amount of cash or items will be greatly appreciated. Our niyah is give parcels to the most needy Muslim families so they too can enjoy Iftaar and Shuhoor. The following items will be added to the Ramadan parcels: dates (400 x 250g), daltjie mixes (200), boeber mixes (800 x150g) and muffin mixes (200 x 500g).

If you would like to donate, you can contact any of our members who will arrange for the collection of these items. Our members can collect in the following areas:

3. Strandfontein
4. Athlone
5. Goodwood
6. Rondebosch
7. Ruyterwacht
8. Surrey Estate

Alternatively, you are welcome to make use of EFT.

We hope that you will assist us in gifting our beneficiaries and their families, by supporting our appeal and sharing this message with your family, friends, colleagues and neighbourhood groups.
