Bring someone you trust.

Trying a new activity can feel easier when a familiar person comes along.

Depending on the event, a spouse, family member, friend or another veteran may be welcome. For pet-friendly outings, your dog may be able to join you too.

We’ll share each event’s attendance rules so you know what to expect before you go.

You don’t have to tell your story or arrive knowing everyone. You can start with a hello and an activity you enjoy.

If you’re unsure about attending, send us a private message. We’ll help you find the details and talk through that first step.

Our service can continue after the uniform comes off.

Vet-Hive needs veterans and community supporters who want to help another veteran find connection.

Maybe you can:
• Post activities on Facebook
• Find local events
• Contact organizations
• Help at gatherings
• Take photos with participants’ permission
• Help with fundraising or transportation coordination

You don’t have to take on everything. One skill and a little time can help us grow.

I believe in Service After the Service. Building Vet-Hive is one way we can keep serving—and find connection ourselves along the way.

A bigger table for everyone.

Vet-Hive’s approach is “Nonprofits Helping Nonprofits.”

Across our communities, organizations already offer meaningful activities for veterans. We want to help more veterans discover them.

By sharing events through a central calendar and Facebook, we can help organizations reach people who might otherwise miss what they offer. We also welcome opportunities to plan activities together.

Your organization brings its experience and community. Vet-Hive helps connect veterans to those opportunities.

Your event could be the reason a veteran gets out of the house.

VFWs, American Legions, AMVETS, Vet Centers, churches, clubs, nonprofits, businesses and community organizers: we’d love to hear what you have coming up.

Send activities as early as possible so we have time to share them on Facebook and add them to our calendar as it becomes available.

Please include:
• Event name and short description
• Date, start time and location
• Cost, registration link and deadline
• Who can attend, including family or pets
• Organizer contact and a flyer, if you have one

More notice gives us more time to help people find your event and plan to attend.

Stop in to see Piglet! He is there to honor the veterans at Port Royal Speedway! He will be at our booth! He is the little handicapped french bulldog! Its amazing how resilient animals can be! They teach us alot! He walked, ran, jumped on furniture was a normal dog until he was 3 yrs old! And he became paralyzed! But that will NOT get him down!
