Dear Kids and Families,

It absolutely breaks my heart to share that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel this year’s Kids Ride.

We were so hopeful that we would be able to pull it off this year. Today, our Club President went up to check on the snowpack — and unfortunately, there simply isn’t one. The few inches of snow we’ve been getting overnight and in the early morning have been melting off by the afternoon. In order to protect the road and avoid causing damage, we needed at least 6 inches of solid snow coverage to safely hold the event and to help keep the sleds cool. As of today, there is still pavement showing, and the forecast does not indicate that we will be able to get — or maintain — that necessary 6 inches.

After careful discussion with our President and Vice President, we have decided to roll over all sponsorships and donations to the 2027 Kids Ride. We are incredibly grateful for your support, generosity, and enthusiasm this year.

I was so excited to make this another EPIC day on the snow for our kids and families, and my family and I share in your disappointment. Please know this decision was made with the safety of our kids, the impact on the snowmobiles, and the potential damage to the road in mind.

Thank you for your understanding, continued support, and commitment to making this event so special. We can’t wait to come back even stronger in 2027.

📣 Say A Prayer Friends 🙏🏻 📣

I was hoping to give you an answer today but the only thing I can say is we aren’t giving up, Yet!

❄️ There is snow in the forecast next week and we are going to hope and pray it hits and sticks.

🛞 Today we woke up to it snowing at our place, and the snow park road was white with an inch of fresh snow in the snopark. The 6 miles to the littles on the way up had very little snow with several patches of road showing through. On the way back down it was road with only a few patches of snow. 😢 If we can get the snow to stick the 6 miles to where the littles are we will be ok to hold the event.

I completely understand how hard it is for families to plan around a maybe. I just can’t cancel and then have the storm come through this week.

So 🙏🏻 💃 someone go buy a 🚤 to make it ❄️. We will watch the forecast and potentially come back up Friday or Saturday and go check things out again.

Edit To Add: Whoever I going over the berm In their 4x4 please stop. These kids want to ride In 2 weeks and It Is Illegal!

🩵🩵 Update 🩵🩵

I’m not going to tell you anything you don’t already know but we need snow. Our family went up today to the playground where the littles go and the snow is there but it is thin. We definitely can’t afford to lose much more.

I would love to say that I am 100% confident we will be able to hold the event, but I don’t gamble and I’m definitely not gambling on the weather. What I can tell you is we are committed to make this happen even if it means making some changes to make it happen.

Our tenative plan is to come back up on the 14th Valentines weekend and see what we have to work with. Then the team will make the call! I understand we have people traveling a long ways to be here and I want to be as transparent as possible.

If you registered and your plans are changing please send me a message and let me know.

I also don’t want to spend money on stuff and things we can’t use. So if on the 14th we commit then we will make the best out of whatever we have no matter what.

📣📣 Today is the day. I need to put orders in for shirts, food, and to make sure we have prizes for the age groups who are registered. To guarantee the kids get all goods make sure you register them today. Tomorrow morning I will pull the list.

Hey Kids Ride Fam 👋🏻

We are excited to see those Registrations rolling in. On January 29th one week away I need to submit our T-shirt order and get our food numbers finalized. I also will need to make sure that I have enough prizes for everyone. So if you are planning on coming please register before the 29th.

We are not going to close the registration because we know that we have some cancelations and no shows. I will not be able to guarantee a t-shirt, a prize, or that we will have enough food if you register after that date. We will do our best to make sure everyone gets something but it is much easier to plan when we know how many kids we have coming.

Make sure you are keeping your eyes peeled up next some sneak peeks at the goodies and some info on the fun events.

We weren’t the only ones getting ready for the Kids Ride Today!!!

This summer was busy writing thank you cards, and getting these all delivered and mailed out to everyone who made the 2025 Kids Ride a huge success. Thank you just doesn’t even seem to be enough.

Now we are starting prepping for the 2026 Kids Ride. Sponsorship opportunities will be posted the first part of December. Registration information will be posted in January! Make sure you have the date saved on your calendar! February 28th, 2026 the best day ever!
