Today was packed with excitement for Troop 6200! Lincoln and Finn tackled the rock climbing wall like pros, showing off their strength and determination. Meanwhile, our awesome chaperones Chester, Shanna, and Bob enjoyed a beautiful horseback ride through the trails, soaking up the scenery and making the most of camp life.

The adventures keep coming, and we can’t wait to see what tomorrow holds! 🏕️🧗‍♂️🐎

Tuesday night adventure! 🐎
Our Scouts saddled up for a special excursion with their horses: Cyrus with Scout, Gabe with Ziggy, Max with Lugnut, and Tucker with Jingle Bells. Meanwhile, others spent the day practicing their archery skills and enjoying a variety of camp activities. It was an unforgettable evening full of teamwork, new skills, and plenty of fun!

First Full Day at Camp Baldwin! 🌲

Our Scouts have jumped right into adventure:
🐍 Cyrus made a new (slithery!) friend
🚣 Carter hit the water for some kayaking
🧗 Link and Finn took on the climbing wall
🐎 And everyone spent time with the horses

Troop 6200 is off to camp!
This morning our Scouts hit the road for their annual summer adventure, and this year they chose Camp Baldwin, tucked away near beautiful Mt. Hood. After weeks of planning, packing, and prepping, they’ve arrived safely and are ready for a week filled with hiking, merit badges, campfires, and new memories.

For Isaac’s Eagle Scout project, he replaced overgrown shrubs with low maintenance plants at St. Mary’s Church in White Swan. It helped to enrich the beauty of this old church while also helping to secure and protect the building from damaging ivy and fire hazards. Great job, Isaac!

Honoring Bob Rasmussen

We remember and honor Bob Rasmussen, who served as our troop’s second Scoutmaster from 1977 to 1982. Bob was a dedicated leader who shaped the lives of many young scouts, instilling values of leadership, service, and perseverance.

This photo features Neal Rasmussen, our troop’s first Eagle Scout in 1982—one of many scouts impacted by Bob’s guidance. His legacy lives on in the countless scouts who knew him.

Our thoughts are with his family and all who were fortunate enough to have learned from him. Rest in peace, Bob.
