2 yrs ago today we took a leap of faith and started the purchase of our first building for New Beginnings. What a ride it has been . Lots of high, some lows but we have persevered and are steps away from the finish line. Just one more piece of equipment to wait for and installed then the DOH can be called. People ask if we regret buying/ renovating and as we look around at the beauty we will be sharing with our new space, that answer would be a resounding NO.
Hard work reaps great rewards. When we open our doors at 36 Stanley Ave the very first time, it will have been worth every tear, moment of anxiety, disagreement with contractors, delayed equipment, etc. We are excited to be able to serve the City of Woonsocket and those who need our services.

What a fabulous day . Went for my pickup Feed RI and my friend Lynn Houston Page greets me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and gift cards to Stanley’s burgers. Then off to Rhode Island Community Food Bankto receive a check from the Governors Office to help us continue our Mission to feed those in need.
So Mr. Bahb and I went to Stanley’s Burgers for date night.
Thank you to our City official who advocated for us at the State Level. And Feed RI for being a great partner and Lynn for being and even better friend. much appreciated .

This is our first time doing this. Come support New Beginnings and get what you want to eat there or get it to go. We’re also going to have a couple of great raffle baskets you can buy chances for. Coupons can be picked up at Aging Well, and 36 Stanley Ave ( but I need to know when you’d like to pick some up to see where I’ll be). Please share with your friends and you can copy the coupons and share with your friends, family, and groups you belong to.
Thank you for all your support.

We have passed all our City inspections and are within weeks of finishing up the Dept. of Health requirements, while still providing meals to the shelter. Please take a peek at our needs and if you could possibly share that would be awesome. If you are local, Monique Hair We Are will hold items for us.
Thank for looking, purchasing and sharing.

Barbara Reed and I are honored to be judges this year for one of the biggest events for Feed RI. We were so excited we made our own pasta jewelry and schmoozed the crowd.
Can’t wait for the great event on the 17th at Bally’s event center.
There are still Mac and scream tickets left if you wanna be part of the crew. Just reach out to Feed RI if you wanna have a good time..
