Another Friday, Another night to praise the Lord 🙌

“Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. The most perfect love: THE LOVE OF CHRIST!

God didn’t send His Son to condemn the world, but to save it. That’s the kind of love that changes everything.

Love that saves, not love that condemns. 🤍

We tend to project our human ideology onto God.
“If I would react this way, God must react that way.”

But He is not like us.

He is compassionate. Slow to anger. Abounding in love.
He does not treat us as our sins deserve. He removes them, as far as the east is from the west.

And it’s His love that draws us near, not fear.
His mercy invites us closer. 🤍

“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;”
