It's (every other) Thursday! That means a nice hot bowl of soup and/or a grilled cheese day at Post 85. Today's soup is Loaded Baked Potato soup. $3 for soup or sandwich and $5 for both! Come on down between 10:30-1. Also available to go.

Wow!!! Woonsocket really SHOWED UP for its community today! We had one of the best Scouting for Food Drives we've had in many years! Thank you to everyone who supported our community. Everything picked up today is in the food pantry at Holy Trinity Church. ❤️⚜️

During the next 4 weeks, Troop 222 Scouts will learn about the history of games, explore a variety of different game types that will encourage critical thinking, build teamwork and most of all, they will have FUN!

We had a great Court of Honor with my Scouts BSA Troop 222 Woonsocket, RI scout families tonight. Our girls earned 39 Merit Badges, 5 special awards and 67 segments at Camp Yawgoog this summer. 9 scouts advanced in rank. They also won the campsite decoration contest, tied for 1st in the bake-off and won Troop of the week!

Week 8 at Camp Yawgoog has come to a close. At the beginning of the week we received the unfortunate news that this would be Yawgoogs LAST week 8 ever and we would have to find a new week and a new home for future seasons. During this week our scouts earned a total of 39 completed merit badges, 1 partial, 2 firem'n chits and 1 scout went from beginner swimmer to swimmer. In addition to this, 1 ranked up to Scout, 5 to 2nd Class, and 3 to Star. Our scouts rallied and won 2nd place in the costume contest, tied for 1st in the bake-off and won the campsite decoration contest. All of this helped our troop be chosen as Elmo's TROOP OF THE WEEK! As a scoutmaster, this has made me so proud! I can't wait to see where our girls go from here!!

Scouts BSA Troop 222 Woonsocket, RI and Troop 2 Woonsocket spent a week at Camp Yawgoog having loads of fun, earning tons of merit badges, enjoying nature and camping side by each!
