You may be wondering what She Believed Girls Summer Camp is all about. At She Believed Camp, we use the summer months as an opportunity to help fill important gaps in learning by exposing girls to practical life skills and social knowledge that are not always taught in school. Our goal is to provide a safe, positive, and healthy environment where girls can grow, build confidence, develop leadership skills, learn socially appropriate behaviors, strengthen character, and gain valuable tools that will help them succeed in school, at home, and in their communities.

Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026
Theme: Together for a Period-Friendly World

At She Believed, we believe that menstrual health is not just a personal issue it is a matter of dignity, health, education, and equality.

Today, we join the global movement to create a world where no girl or woman feels ashamed, excluded, or limited because of menstruation.

It is time to end the stigma.
Too many girls and women still face shame, silence, and misinformation surrounding their periods. We must continue challenging harmful cultural taboos and create safe spaces for open and honest conversations.

It is time to ensure universal access.
Every girl and woman deserves access to affordable menstrual products, proper sanitation facilities, and safe environments especially in schools and underserved communities.

It is time to strengthen education and advocacy.
By working together NGOs, communities, governments, educators, and global organizations, we can prioritize menstrual health education and empower girls with the knowledge and confidence they deserve.

At She Believed, we remain committed to empowering girls and women through education, awareness, mentorship, and support.

Together, we can build a period-friendly world where every girl can thrive with confidence and dignity.

To reset as a person, you need to recalculate and have an honest accountability check while taking note of the distractions, setbacks, barriers, and areas that require more effort.

Resetting often demands changes in:
• Mindset
• Habits
• Circle of friends
• Environment

A true reset does not only require honesty and accountability, but also self-discipline and consistency to let go of old baggage and start afresh.

As you read this, take a quiet moment for yourself and identify the areas in your life that need a reset.

Before every rise, there is often an inner battle filled with so many questions:

“What is happening to me?”
“When did I give in to this?”
“Why am I holding on to this?”
“Where do I even start?”

Releasing may sound easy until you begin the journey of letting go of the very things you thought gave meaning to your life or defined your existence.

But one thing remains true: until we intentionally release the things that no longer serve us, it becomes difficult to truly rise.

These things may be:
• Habits
• Toxic environments
• Societal expectations
• Peer pressure
• People-pleasing
…and so much more.

Growth begins when we become honest about what is holding us back and make the conscious decision to let go.

What are some things you think are holding you back, and how do you intend to release them?
