Healthcare takes a team. 🦋

We loved spending time with local eighth-grade students at the 2026 Worlds of Work Career Exploration Event at Laurel Ridge Community College, sharing the many paths that lead to a career in healthcare.

From direct patient care to education, human resources, volunteer services, and beyond, students explored how their interests and strengths can make a difference in the lives of others.

Last week, families, friends, and community members gathered in Wi******er and Loudoun County for Blue Ridge Care's annual Remembrance Services, taking time to honor and remember loved ones who have died. 🦋

Through shared reflection, meaningful traditions, and moments of remembrance, attendees found space to pause, reflect, and connect with others who understand the journey of grief. A remembrance nest filled with flowers, written messages, and memory objects served as a visual reminder that the bonds we share with loved ones continue long after they are gone.

One attendee shared, "Thank you for the invite as life gets so busy and it's hard to have time to grieve and take a few minutes. Thank you for all you guys do!"

We are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped create these special spaces for remembrance.

A special thank you to Dr. Kristin Whitesides and First Baptist Church of Wi******er for supporting our Wi******er service, to Holistic Horsemanship Counseling and More and Trillium Farm for hosting our Loudoun gathering, and to Glass House Butterfly Farm & Gardens for providing the butterflies used in our butterfly release.

As we move through grief, moments of remembrance remind us that we do not have to carry loss alone.

We had a great time connecting with students at the Senior Expo at Shenandoah University! 🦋

It's always encouraging to meet young people who are already exploring careers dedicated to caring for others. One student shared her goal of becoming a registered nurse, while another hopes to pursue a career in occupational therapy. 💙

This National PACE Month, we're celebrating the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), a unique model of care that brings together healthcare, social connection, transportation, therapies, nutrition support, and more, all with one goal: helping older adults maintain their independence and quality of life.

As one participant shared, PACE provided more than healthcare. It provided community, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose.

From transportation drivers and aides to nurses, therapists, social workers, providers, activities, dietary, enrollment, and center team members, PACE is built on people coming together with a shared commitment to helping Participants live as independently and fully as possible.

Whether it's providing a safe ride, offering a helping hand, coordinating care, sharing a smile, or being there when needed most, every team member plays an important role in the lives of the Participants and families we serve.
