“Seeing the early stages of [engineering innovation during World War I] gives a new appreciation for how far we have come, and only encourages us to continue pushing the limits of what is possible.”

For Freedom Alliance Scholarship Recipient Robert Digby, World War I represents a turning point in innovation — a time when breakthroughs in engineering and technology began shaping the modern world.

April is Month of the Military Child, a time to recognize the strength, resilience, and sacrifice of military kids.

The Military Child’s Creed puts their experience into words. From saying goodbye to standing strong to welcoming their parent home, this is what they live every day.

All month, we will be sharing stories and quotes from our scholarship students who carry this spirit with them.

💜 We see you. We honor you. We thank you.

We wish you and your loved ones a joyous and blessed Easter holiday.

April is Month of the Military Child—and on April 15, we’re asking you to join us for Purple Up Day 💜

Purple represents all branches of the military, bringing together the children who stand behind our nation’s heroes every day.

From frequent moves to long deployments, military kids show resilience, strength, and pride beyond their years. At Freedom Alliance, we’re honored to support these incredible students and share their stories all month long.

On April 15, wear purple and stand with military children everywhere.

For 100 years, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier has stood as a solemn tribute to America’s fallen whose names are known only to God. An armed military guard was ordered on March 24, 1926 and the first sentinel was posted the following morning. The Tomb has been guarded without pause since, representing the sacrifice of all who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Each year, Freedom Alliance scholarship students visit this sacred place, not just to see it, but to understand it. To stand in quiet, to reflect, and to remember the cost of freedom. As we mark this centennial, we invite you to do the same. Take a moment today to remember the unknown heroes who gave everything.

“Standing in that moment wouldn’t just be about watching history, but about honoring my ancestors, my grandparents, and everyone else who sacrificed so that future generations could live with more dignity and possibility.”

Freedom Alliance Scholarship Recipient Ta’Tyana Anderson reflects on the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who stood up during the Civil Rights Movement — and the legacy that continues to shape her today.

Nahsir Knight-Bell has been part of the Freedom Alliance family since 2023 and what a journey it’s been. 🇺🇸

A dedicated student, a leader, and now a friend, Nahsir continues to inspire us with his resilience and determination. Through loss and life’s challenges, he has stayed focused on honoring his family’s legacy while building one of his own.

We are incredibly proud to share that Nahsir has officially been sworn in to the Army National Guard.

His father, 1st Sgt. Russell Bell, gave his life in service to our country, and now Nahsir carries that legacy forward through his own commitment to serve. He continues to lead his family, pursue his goals, and show what it means to keep moving forward with purpose.

And we have to say it… nice haircut, Nahsir. We know those locks will be missed.

We are honored to walk alongside you and can’t wait to see what’s ahead.
