LAST CHANCE TO SUBMIT: OUR VALLEY (June 5)

Help us celebrate the landscapes, places, and people that make the Shenandoah Valley and Wi******er so special. Our Valley invites artists of all mediums to share their unique perspective on the community we call home.

Selected works will be featured in the ShenArts Gallery throughout July, including during Wi******er's Fourth of July celebrations.

One year ago, we opened the doors to the ShenArts Gallery—and what a year it has been.

Join us on Friday, June 5 from 5–8 PM as we celebrate a year of art, creativity, and community in the heart of downtown Wi******er. Enjoy ArtScape 17, connect with local artists and fellow art lovers, explore our newly released ArtScape guide, participate in a family-friendly activity, and enter our community raffle basket filled with local goodies, gift cards, art-inspired prizes, and a chance to win a free art class registration.

ShenArts invites photographers to submit work for The View, an exhibition celebrating the beauty, character, and quiet moments of the Shenandoah Valley, Wi******er, and the surrounding landscapes we call home.

​From sweeping mountain vistas and rolling farmland to intimate city corners and shifting skies, The View explores the many ways we see and experience this place. We welcome images that capture both the grandeur and the subtlety of our region—moments of stillness, movement, light, and life that define our everyday surroundings.

We’re inviting artists from across the United States to participate in Wish You Were Here, a national exhibition exploring the postcard as both format and feeling.

Through intimate 5 × 7 works, artists are encouraged to share glimpses of home, culture, memory, travel, love, longing, landscapes, community, and connection. What do you want your postcard to say?
