Shenandoah Valley Youth Lacrosse and Frederick County Parks & Recreation are teaming up again to bring you an incredible Summer Lacrosse Camp!

Whether your child is picking up a stick for the very first time or looking to sharpen their skills for next season, our expert coaches are ready to help them grow, compete, and have a blast in a supportive environment.

CAMP DETAILS
Dates: July 6th – July 10th
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM daily
Location: Sherando Park Athletic Fields
Ages: 7–14 (All skill levels welcome!)
Cost: $80 per person

Happy Mother’s Day to the real MVPs of lacrosse season — the moms. 🥍💐

The ones who:
• wash mystery-colored practice pennies
• Febreze bags that should probably be quarantined
• find mouthguards in cup holders, couch cushions, and somehow the washing machine
• sit through rain, wind, snow, and “false spring” games
• pack snacks like it’s a professional catering job
• untangle hair after helmet practice
• know exactly where every tournament field is… except the one today
• cheer the loudest after every goal, ground ball, and brave hustle play

You handle the chaos, the carpools, the muddy cleats, and yes… the legendary smell of lacrosse gear — all with love (and maybe industrial-strength detergent). 😂

Thank you for every sideline cheer, every early morning, every post-game hug, and every moment you give to this sport and these players.

We know the gear may stink… but the memories are priceless. 💙🥍💗

Lacrosse is one of the oldest sports in North America, created by Native American tribes over 1,000 years ago.
