Diamond Dawgs Baseball - Winchester Diamond Dawgs - Wi******er is a 12U Travel Baseball Team consisting of players from Wi******er/Frederick County and surrounding areas.

The 12U Diamond Dawgs are preparing for their "Field of Dreams" tournament in Cooperstown, NY in the Summer of 2016. Most of these boys have been playing together since they were 8 years-old. Their first year of competing in division tournaments, the team captured both championships at the District and State level. Therefore, the team had the opportunity to compete in the Southeast Regional tourna

ment in Andalusia, Alabama. Many of the players were part of the team that competed in the 2014 10 year-old Cal Ripken World Series as well. They are a very dedicated and talented group of 12 year-old boys who have come together as one tight “family unit.” They practice hard, play hard, and they have a lot of heart, dedication and drive. Now they will have the "Once in a Lifetime" opportunity to play in one of the most famous parks of the world - Cooperstown Dream Park!

Diamond Dawgs went into the championship bracket holding the #2 seed. We won both games yesterday...we play this morning at 8am. If we win we then play in the championship game today at 3pm. In between games we have skills competition and all star selections are announced. The tournament concludes with the All-Star game at 9pm. These boys have truly shined this week and truly love the game. Gooooo Dawgs...we are soooo proud of you!

Practice tomorrow, Thursday 4/14, has been CANCELLED/CHANGED.
We will be indoor at Facility Friday 4/15 5:30-7:00PM instead.
