Hello 👋🏾
South-East -West siding have been replaced on the 1019 year old, 4 level, Historical Svea School House, purchased in 1987. We are a nonprofit founded by 2 Minnesota Art/Special teachers in Greater Minnesota. While we honor it’s original structure, we also create & renovate each level into functioning classrooms/studios spaces. We partner with a program of the Kandiyohi County Workforce Center to hire individuals, helping with our goals. One of our unique spaces is our western paper studio. Each spring we offer the studio, 1 1/2 hour, quick class experience for $15. Follow our FB page to see other offerings.

It is that time of year again for DEMO inc’s yearly auction fundraising event.
October 11, 2026 at WEAC - Willmar Education & Arts Center.
Lunch & silent auction starting at noon & the live auction will start @ 1pm & will conclude about 4pm.

Can you help DEMO inc by purchasing raffle tickets? $1.00 each, I can arrange to meet up some where. I encourage bringing return address labels for filling the tickets out. You do not need to be present to win, but we would love to see you with a bidding number in hand.

1908 Article about the “Svea Schoolhouse”, now DEMO inc. Developing Exploring Maintaining Originality - through the ARTS. We continue focusing on education with the ARTS. The Arts educate the brain in ways that are not addressed in the basic “r’s” & technology. This thought based on research.
Check out our current class list, listed in previous FB posts. These classes are financially supported by the Southwest MN ARTS Council- SMAC, making classes totally affordable to all.

I started applying marine varnish on the shed ramp & trimmed to size, recycling trim boards from the building.

3 ladies & 4 hours later this is what we accomplished.
Primed on 2 1/2 sides & 2nd door updated. More priming & updating the trim with recycled trim from the trim that came off the building. I will be sealing the wood ramp as well.
*The shed was power washed a week previously to priming.
