Pet of the week: Loki!
Meet Loki, the perfect gentleman with a playful side! Loki may be 10 years old, but don't tell him that! This handsome male Aussie/Lab mix hasn't gotten the memo about slowing down, and he's ready to fill someone's life with love, laughter, and plenty of cuddles! Honestly, Loki is the epitome of a PERFECT dog! Great with kids? Absolutely! Good with other dogs? You bet!
Cats? He did wonderfully meeting some feline friends at the shelter! Leash manners? Walks like a champ! Treat-catching skills? PROFESSIONAL LEVEL! Catching toys? Well... let's just say he's still working on that part! But Loki's biggest talent? Being a total LOVE BUG! This sweet boy is quite a lover boy and is more than happy to shower his favorite humans with kisses. He's a certified ham who will keep you smiling and make every day a little brighter! At 10 years young, Loki has so much love left to give. He's got the manners, the charm, the goofy personality, and the affectionate heart that make a house feel like home.

🐾 12 ADOPTIONS. 12 HAPPY ENDINGS. ONE AMAZING COMMUNITY! 🐾

Our hearts are SO full this evening!

3 dogs and 9 cats are officially on their way to living their happily ever after!

To every single person who walked through our doors today, THANK YOU! Whether you adopted, donated, shared our posts, or simply showed our animals some love, you helped make today something special.

And THIS is what the Rescue Effect is all about!

Every adoption creates a ripple effect. One animal finds a loving home, opening up space, time, and resources for another animal who needs us. Adopt one, help many!

A HUGE thank you to our incredible staff for another busy day filled with love, patience, and happy endings. We couldn’t do what we do without you!

To our 12 newest Hawk Creek Alumni… we are SO happy for you and your new families! 🥹

Here’s to new beginnings, forever families, and a community that continues to show up for animals in need.

YOU are the reason these animals get a second chance at life!

Don’t tell the others, but he gets special treatment and hangs out in the office with the ladies! Be sure to ask to see him. You’ll fall in love with that sweet face in no time!
