d opportunities of social participation through community projects. We also develop customizable programs to improve social and communication skills. We make connections possible through group experiences, carefully considering their environments. We carry this belief into everything we do.

Sometimes the best cure for writer's block isn't writing.
It's listening.
Join us for Voices Rising: Juneteenth Poetry & Spoken Word Showcase & Open Mic and spend an afternoon with poets, storytellers, and artists who know how to transform experience into language.
Featured performer Dralandra Larkins will bring her award-winning spoken word artistry to the stage, joined by emcee Buddy King and local poets Gloudis, Chenel, Lady King, Gwen, and Hedy.
You might leave with a new poem.
You might leave with a new idea.
You might leave with the first line you've been waiting for.
And if inspiration strikes, stick around—there's an Open Mic after the showcase.
Because sometimes all it takes is hearing one brave voice to remember your own.

Pride in the Park Featured Entertainer: Purpose Artisans

John and Nicole from Purpose Artisans have been enjoying Marshall Pride’s Pride in the Park for the past few years and look forward to seeing all the beautiful people again this year. Purpose Artisans is a 501(3)(c) whose social justice mission to bring people together amongst differences. They do this through the arts including, music, dance, and community art projects. Their favorite way pit people together is a drumming circle. Please join them from 1:30-2:30 on Sunday. Even if it’s sitting close by and tapping your toe to the rhythm. Music is a powerful tool to bring people together!

We are so thrilled to welcome Purpose Artisans back to Marshall Pride! Join the drum circle and community, and check out all of the entertainment happening June 14 from 10-4 at the Lyon County Fairgrounds at marshallpride.org!
