AFCM is an international family of churches and ministers dedicated to cultivating a heart for the world, nurturing relationships, and championing the local church. What We Do
AFCM endeavors to provide support, leadership, and a spiritual covering for its member ministries who are united in their common beliefs, who desire fellowship with other ministers of like precious faith, and who

are in need of ministerial credentials provided by a reputable organization. The purpose of AFCM is to:
• Provide a means of unity, strength, and fellowship among members of AFCM.
• Assist AFCM ministers in reaching their most effective potential in the ministry to which God has called them.
• Recognize ministers who have proven themselves through membership in AFCM as licensed or ordained ministers.
• Supply a means of Godly encouragement and counsel to ministers in accuracy of doctrine and integrity of character.
• Assist in coordinating overseas ministry projects and the support of AFCM missions.
• Take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations.

Maybe you are in circumstances and situations that seem to be impossible. I want to encourage you to believe God in that place and to act upon what you believe. Ordination isn’t just for pastors. And ministry isn’t something you were meant to do alone.

No matter what you're facing, you are never facing it alone.

God is not distant or uninvolved; He is willing and able to help us in every area of our lives. As we remain connected to Him, He works in us and through us, giving us the strength, wisdom, and grace we need for each day.

Take heart knowing that the Lord is working alongside you. His presence is constant, His promises are sure, and His power is at work in your life.

We just wrapped up a wonderful AFCM regional meeting at Cornerstone Church in Cobbs Creek, Virginia. Pastors Chris and Debbie Morgan, along with their amazing team, were gracious hosts and made everyone feel right at home.

Pastor Chris opened the meeting with an overview of AFCM and a timely reminder of the importance of “being connected.” Regional Director Rick Smith followed with an encouraging exhortation from Psalm 23 on living in the overflow and drinking from the right streams. I had the privilege of sharing from Philippians 3 on “The Upward Call.”

Of course, the gourmet lunch and dessert gave us plenty of reason to linger—and linger we did! The fellowship, camaraderie, and conversations around the table were a wonderful reflection of what happens when we intentionally connect with one another.

As we continue pursuing the practice of “connecting” in this season, our time together at Cornerstone was an enjoyable and meaningful success. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the gathering so special!

We’ll see you soon—hopefully in California in October!

For nearly five decades, the AFCM Family Reunion has been a hallmark event bringing together ministers, leaders, and families for a time of worship, teaching, encouragement, and connection. The Family Reunion has enjoyed a powerful and significant history in Minnesota, serving as a central gathering place for our fellowship.

This year, we have expanded our reach and are excited to invite you to the West Coast Family Gathering on the Central Coast of California, October 19–22, 2026, at Agape Church in San Luis Obispo. This expansion is a wonderful opportunity to welcome new regions into the fold and make our gathering more accessible to our global family.

The registration fee for these meetings helps cover lunches on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, as well as dinner on Tuesday evening. We want to make as much room as possible for fellowship and connection throughout the week!
