🎉 Congratulations, Amanda Gonzales! 🎉

We’re excited to announce that Amanda Gonzales is the winner of our ReMarkable Tablet Drawing! 🥳

As part of our Employee Giving Campaign, staff members who participated at the designated giving level were entered into a drawing for a ReMarkable Tablet. Amanda’s name was drawn at our recent WFISD Foundation Board Meeting on September 29!

NEW WFISD FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP! 💙

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for WFISD graduating seniors!

Beginning this year, the WFISD Foundation Dyslexia Scholarship will provide a $500 scholarship to a graduating WFISD senior who has dyslexia. Did you know that only 5% of students diagnosed with dyslexia pursue higher education?

We believe every student deserves the opportunity to pursue their goals after high school, and we are proud to add this scholarship to the WFISD Foundation’s growing list of opportunities supporting our students.

📚 Applications Open: December 18, 2026
🎓 Recipients Announced: May 2027
💙 WFISD Dyslexia Scholarship: $500
Other scholarships opportunities offered totaling $87,000
