On Monday 10/19/26 our Aktion Club (Aktion Cares) hosted a Bingo Night at the Hero House.

Everyone had a great time playing and we had popcorn and lemonade for refreshment!

Thanks for all who came to support us and if you couldn't make it, maybe you can join us for our next event!

Exciting news! 🎉🎉🎉 The Andrew Carnegie Foundation has awarded a US$600,000 grant to help us expand and enhance Key Club International over the next two years. It’s the largest grant ever awarded to Key Club — and it will fund efforts to open new Key Clubs and expand student access to the Global Leadership Certificate Master Class.

This months Aktion Club meeting included passing out the new t-shirts, discussing our annual club dues, and a bingo game at the ARC's Hero House on MONDAY, October 19 5:30 pm.

We're looking for community support for the bingo game, either cash donations or lightly used items for auction. Individuals and businesses are encouraged to help. If you're interested, please contact us at [email protected].

Pictured are members: Jaisa Stanley (President), Russell Cowley (Vice-President), Sean McGrath (Secretary), Terry Stanley (Treasurer), Ashley Denman, Tashawna Alexander, Clara Likins (not pictured: Raaschad Gammage).

What do you think of their new t-shirts? The colors are inspired by the disability flag.

The University Kiwanis Club of Wichita Falls is part of Division 18, one of the many divisions in the Texas Oklahoma District of Kiwanis International, there are six clubs in this district including ours, the original Wichita Falls club, Lawton, Graham, Vernon, and Altus, OK.

Thanks largely to Past President Kathy Probst, our district was awarded Division Growth Recognition for the year 2024-2025 (Kiwanis year is from October 1 - September 30).

Congratulations to all involved!

Kiwanis awards clubs that have met certain criteria such as club growth, community profile, and Service Learning Programs (for youth).

Our club has been awarded the "Distinguished Club" certificate for the Kiwanis year 2024-2025, under the leadership of Kathy Probst. My own observation is that Kathy was the best club president I've seen since joining Kiwanis and has rightfully earned the "Distinguished President" award.

Note the Kiwanis motto "Serve the children of the world".
