Boys & Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls loves the Wichita Falls Elite Swim Team! We're sad to no longer be able to accommodate these amazing youth in our 64-year-old , which needed to be retired a few years ago. (We were significantly older than City of Wichita Falls, Texas Government 's Lucy Pool!) It was not due to budgetary issues, but rather issues (we faced a significant net LOSS each year to keep the aging pool open). We are very excited for the new Wichita Falls YMCA pool which will serve our community in the next few decades! Wichita Falls Boys & Girls Clubs Alumni & Friends Wichita Falls ISD

The Wichita Falls Elite Swim Team is working to rebuild its membership after losing its longtime practice facility earlier this year.

Kamyrn Perez was recently awarded the Boys and Girls Club "Youth Of The Month " by the WF Kiwanis Club. Kamyrn is a big helper around the house. You'll find him picking up after himself, cooking, cleaning the yard, and taking out the trash. Kamyrn expresses his gratitude to God by praying each night before he goes to bed. He's just completed the 1st grade at Southern Hills Elementary where he maintained B's and above on his report cards. He says his favorite subject is math and would like to become a professional football player when he grows up. He's only in his first year at the Southeast branch, but is already become very active in Club activities. Other members say they love playing games with him because of his good sportsmanship. Congratulations Kamyrn!!
