Troop 36 scouts had an incredible weekend at Camp Workcoeman for the Connecticut Rivers Council’s Semiquincentennial Camporee, celebrating 250 years of American independence! Scouts rotated through 12 skill-based stations in a Revolutionary War spy mission, met a George Washington historical interpreter, and capped the weekend with a campwide campfire and Scoutmaster cook-off featuring Washington’s favorite foods. What a memorable way to mark America’s 250th!
