With deep sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved member, Cynthia Steckel z”l.

Cynthia was a devoted wife to Dr. Mark Steckel, cherished mother of Jenna (Conor White) Steckel and Carly Steckel, and adoring grandmother of Everett White.

The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 2 at 1:00 PM at TCS in Westport. Interment will be private.

Cynthia gave so much of herself to our community, serving in the areas of Education Programming, Israel Outreach, Fundraising, and as a participant in the Hadassah Leadership Academy. Her dedication, warmth, and leadership leave a lasting legacy.

To Mark, Jenna, Carly, and the entire Steckel family, may God comfort and sustain you among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

At our Westport Hadassah Game Night on September 27th, in recognition of Breast Cancer Month, we Collected items: fuzzy socks, gloves, hand lotion, puzzle books, mouthwash, ginger candies and assorted necessities to comfort cancer patients receiving chemotherapy at the Wittingham Cancer Center in Norwalk.
