Hello WTFC Families!
Tomorrow is our End of Season celebration. We will be having a very fun relay for our athletes. below is the link to sign up in your team of 4. Remember, ANYTHING but a baton.

Teams will be divided between two age groups: 13+ and 12u. Due to the weather we are getting in the area, tonight's practice is cancelled.

Tonight at practice it is reserved for those attending this weekend’s meet. This is especially important in the throwing area. There will only be 1 coach for all of throwing. If you, a parent, are able to step in and help him I am sure he would absolutely appreciate it. There will not be any actual throwing because of this but there will be some strength training which will help the throwers.

Wow! What a day! First, thank you to all of our volunteers and coaches for a well ran meet! This meet wouldn’t have gone as well as it did if it wasn’t for you all.

This was the largest opening meet of the season that the league has EVER put on with a total of 846 athletes. It was questionable by the timing crew if we were going to be able to get the meet in 6 hours. We did it in 5 hours and 40 minutes. The bullpen crew from the beginning to the end and the starters absolutely crushed it!

The throwing and jumping crews absolutely crushed it as well. I was told by many coaches that the volunteers were absolutely amazing and everything was extremely smooth. I heard nothing but great things from other clubs!

Second, congratulations to all our athletes for going out there and giving it their all! This is only the beginning and can’t wait to see your progress throughout the season.

Third, with it being meet day, please share your photos in the comments! We love to see what’s happening around the meet as coaches, friends, and family can’t be everywhere at once.

Once again, thank you all for a great start to the season! Get some rest and we’ll see you tomorrow for practice.
