Carroll County Master Gardeners of Maryland

Carroll County Master Gardeners of Maryland Master Gardeners are volunteer educators leading numerous programs that advise and educate the public on gardening and horticulture topics.

Master Gardener Programs (also known as Extension Master Gardener Programs) are volunteer service programs developed to expand the mission of the land grant University's Extension Program by helping to advise and educate the public on gardening and horticultural topics. Master Gardener Volunteer Educators conduct outreach activities in order to provide information to the public via phone or email

help lines, speaking at public events, writing articles for publications and the internet, and partnering with other community programs, gardens, and educational organizations to conduct and plan learning experiences for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
