Gamber Mustang Youth Football & Cheer Program

Gamber Mustang Youth Football & Cheer Program Youth Football & Cheer organization in the Westminster, Sykesville, and Finksburg, Maryland area. The games and playoffs run from August through mid November.

For over 50 years, the Gamber Smallwood Mustangs strive to provide Carroll County youth the opportunity to participate in a program designed to promote good character and sportsmanship by teaching the fundamentals of football and cheerleading. We have a blast during practices while building work ethic and discipline. Our youth tackle football team is a member of the Mountain Valley Youth Football

League (MVYFL). Boys and Girls ages 5-14 (or through 8th grade) can participate in our football and cheerleading teams. Our registrations start in early April and practices start late July. Any child who will attend Westminster High School, Winters Mill High School, Oklahoma Road Middle School, and Sykesville Middle School is in our draw area. Our flag football division consists of children 5-6 years old no matter the high school they will attend. We are the only league in the area to offer FREE Flag Football registration for those interested. The Gamber Smallwood Youth Football and Cheerleading program encourages teamwork and strongly believes Together Everyone Achieves Miracles. We look forward to seeing you on the field and giving us the opportunity to work with your player to provide an enjoyable learning experience as well become a milestone in their journey into adulthood.

If you are new to the program or have not downloaded SNAP! Raise to set up your participant’s account yet, please take a few minutes to do so! Getting started is quick and easy, and every participant who takes part helps us work toward our fundraising goals! 🥅

Remember, the money raised through SNAP! Raise goes directly back into supporting our Gamber Football & Cheer program, including:

• New football equipment
• Field maintenance and improvements
• Cheer equipment and game day experience

These funds allow us to continue investing in our program and providing the best experience we can for all of our Gamber Mustangs.
