YHEC or the Youth Hunter Education Challenge is a group designed to teach our young hunter safety, wildlife ID, archery, shot gun, black powder, and rifle handling.

I'm so proud of The Mayberry YHEC Team. They are bringing home The Sportsmans Award from the East Coast Regionals. The volunteers that run the competition vote on what team presents themselves as being the most respectful, having appreciative attitudes, and displaying outstanding sportsmanship. Out of 130 kids in the competition Mayberry was recognized on the regional level. Way to go guys!!! Thanks to the Dads and Coach Ben for making their trip possible. I am so glad you were all able to represent the State of Maryland and Mayberry with so much pride!! Congratulations!!!
